Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your specific condition. Some clients see results in just a couple of sessions; others benefit from a longer treatment programme. For guidance, visit the FAQs.

Is the consultation included in the price?
Yes. Your first session includes both a detailed consultation, examination and treatment plan. There may not be time available for a manual lymphatic drainage treatment.

This helps me tailor a plan that meets your health goals.

Do you offer discounts for block bookings or treatment packages?
NO, unfortunately I do not offer discounts.

Why do compression garments and bandaging prices vary?
Each person's needs are different. The type of garment, size, and whether bandaging is required will influence the cost. I’ll always give a clear recommendation and pricing before proceeding. Most garments can be provided by the NHS.

Are treatments covered by health insurance or NHS referral?
Most treatments are not covered by the NHS or private health insurance, but it’s worth checking with your provider. I operate as a private clinic, so all treatments are self-funded.

Several Clients have managed to claim for MLD treatments via their insurance companies, I provide receipts to help facilitate this, but you need to pay upfront.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?
No deposit is required at the time of booking, but more than 24 hours’ notice is needed for cancellations to avoid a fee. For more details, feel free to get in touch.

Can I pay by card or cash?
Yes. I accept Bank Transfer, Cash and card payments (an additional charge is added for card payments of £2.00 on £75 and £1.70 on £65) at the clinic.
